Kelowna Wildfire (Tween C) Wins Gold

Kelowna Wildfire won Gold in the Quesnel Gold Pan Tournament Jan 4^th to 6^th after playing total of 5 games Friday. Saturday and Sunday. Our defense played very strong and our goalie Morgen Wowchuck played outstanding throughout all the games.  Two new first year players on our team played in their first ringette tournament and played excellent with Sharlene Campbell scoring her first goal and Jesleena Pearson scoring a total of 5 goals throughout the 5 games.   Everyone played their best every minute and never gave up.  Final game started with Terrace scoring the first goal in the first minutes of the game and Heather Cormier (Kelowna) scoring the last goal of the game making the final score 4 Terrace and 9 Kelowna.
