The Chiefs opened the tournament with a 5 - 5 tie against the Burnaby Squad, they lost their second game to Prince George 6-5.  Kelowna lost their third game to Prince George 5 - 2.   In their fourth round robin game, in a must win game to advance to the final, they faced Burnaby again and won 6-4.

The final game for the Chiefs was against the first place finishers Prince George. Prince George opened the scoring at the 1 minute mark to take the early lead. Kelowna's Kim Csek responded scoring 3 minutes in from some hard work on the boards by Vanessa Hodak and Csek. Prince George would move into the lead again with another goal. Csek would respond again with a pass from Vanessa Zilke to tie the game.  4 minutes later Zilke would give the Chiefs their first lead over Prince George with assists to Hodak and Csek.

Late in the first period with Prince George in penalty trouble, Csek scored the hat trick goal on a two man advantage on a pass from Sydney Hertz to give Kelowna a 4 - 2 lead going into the final period.Kelowna's Holly Langlois would start the second period off with a goal, assisted by Jenna Millsap.

A player from Prince George would respond with 2 goals to bring them within one, then another player of Prince George tied the game with 6 minutes to go. With 2 seconds left to go, Millsap fighting hard on the boards passed the ring to Jordee Ossachuk out in front of the Prince George net and she backhanded in the winning goal for the Kelowna Chiefs.

In goal for the Chiefs was Gabby Descoteaux, defensive pairings were Natalie Stewart with Brittany Watts, Holly Langlois and Nicole Martini and Shawna Wilcox and Sydney Hertz.   The 2 centers for Kelowna were Zilke and Ossachuk.  On the wing were Csek, Hodak, Millsap and Kirsten Burnett, and Alica Ferri and Annika Engelen.

Bench staff included Jim Csek, Gary Millsap and Nikki Csek.
