Sweetheart Tournament Rules
All teams participating in the Kelowna Ringette Association Sweetheart Tournament are expected to review and follow the tournament rules before play begins.
The tournament rules outline game procedures, standings and tie-breaking procedures, team responsibilities, and other requirements specific to the Sweetheart Tournament.

True Sport Principles
Kelowna Ringette Association supports the True Sport Principles at our tournaments, games, practices, and other association events.
True Sport is about creating a positive sport experience for everyone involved. Players, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, and spectators all have a role in making our tournament welcoming, respectful, fair, and fun.
The seven True Sport Principles encourage participants to:
- Strive for excellence and give their best effort.
- Compete fairly and respect the rules.
- Treat teammates, opponents, officials, volunteers, and spectators with respect.
- Remember that sport should be enjoyable.
- Support the health and safety of everyone involved.
- Make sport welcoming and inclusive.
- Show gratitude and give back to the sport community.
We ask everyone attending the Sweetheart Tournament to help us put these principles into practice throughout the event.
